There are GMs who’ll prepare this scene in an elaborate manner: making sure there are various elements that are appropriate to the PCs’ Crystals and abilities; devise a “solution” that’ll bring the scene to a satisfying end; and have a clear outline for how this scene should develop from start to finish.
I wish them all the best, truly, but I would not recommend Savage Worlds to them, nor do I think the Crystal Heart setting works well for them. Or, perhaps, SW and CH can present good opportunities for these GMs to try out a looser, more open-ended encounter design?
