Do you know what I like? I like playing with the format!
I like interludes, I like meanwhiles, I like shifting perspectives, I like everything that gives us – players and GM alike – an opportunity to experience the social interaction that is our game. That doesn’t mean all of these should just be thrown in whenever, though. These are tools, and a craftsperson is measured by knowing which tools to use and when, according to their goals.
In this page: Wanna introduce the Big Villains, but couldn’t get the PCs to meet them in-game? Do this. Or something else, but this is a good tool in this case, I think.
