A call back to Post-Haste!
It’s doubly funny, because the thing in the box is a Flux Capacitor. (I don’t know; probably; yeah, why not). Seeing as October 21th is right around the corner, this makes perfect sense. Guy, being an avid Back to the Future fan, is probably building a little shrine in his house (being also a Shinto fan), filled with various bakery goods (Rotem is a cooking fan). From the ceiling of that room dangles, of course, a fan.
